About me
Nancy P. Alexander is director of Northwestern State University Child and Family Network. NSU Child and Family Network provides a variety of professional development programs including webinars, CDA training, coaching, online, and conferences.
Nancy earned a bachelor’s degree from Centenary College and master’s from Northwestern State University. She completed additional graduate work from NSU, Louisiana Tech, and Louisiana State University, focusing on early childhood and adult learning.
Nancy is the author of Early Childhood Workshops that Work: Essential Guide to Successful Training, Nailing Jelly to the Wall: Defining and Providing Technical Assistance in Early Childhood, published by Gryphon House. A third, Twelve Essential Topics in Early Childhood: A Year of Professional Development for Staff Meetings was published by Redleaf and a textbook on curriculum is in press. She is a frequent presenter at state, regional, and national conferences.
