We received a USDOE Grant called Stepping up STM at WCU and have been able to:
- Create an on-campus STEM lab for school districts and people in the community to engage in interactive learning designed to spark curiosity and deepen an understanding of science, technology, engineering and math.
- Offer StarLab presentations in our mobile planetarium where learning meets adventure.
- Offer scholarships to under-graduate students to obtain a K-6 teaching degree with a STEM endorsement along with offering a STEM endorsement to licensed teachers.
